Sony has announced the newest addition to its professional line of SLR digital cameras, the DSLRα200. The DSLRα200 is all set to deliver superb imaging quality combining advanced creative features and ease of use.
It is compatible with the ever-growing α range of over 20 interchangeable lenses, thanks to the integrated Super SteadyShot optical stabilization, and the new control algorithm boosts the effectiveness between 2.5 and 3.5, compared to its predecessor, the α100. It is also compatible with α lighting systems and other accessories. The new DSLRα200 incorporates Sony's DSLRα700's noise reduction and image processing techniques to deliver ultrahigh picture quality. The powerful 10.2 effective megapixel CCD sensor reduces noise and reveals vivid and brilliant-colored images. The enhanced BIONZ image processing engine contributes to further lower picture in a variety of shooting conditions. With a maximum sensitivity of ISO 3200 and a special High Noise Reduction mode, handheld shooting in low-light conditions without the benefit of flash is a breeze on DSLRα200.
