12 Megapixel Sensor For Compact Cameras By Sharp



If you were seeking some respite from the crazy megapixel race then this is not time! Sharp has announced a twelve megapixel 1/1.7″ sensor designed exclusively for compact cameras! However more pixels doesn’t necessary means better images. Usually there is a danger of more image noise an higher requirement on the lens optics. They should be in production by next year.
