FCC has recently approved the 1660 Barcode Scanner for sale in USA. The Scanner features Non-contact type Scan Engine, Optical Sensor CCD, 2500 pixels, Light Source Red LED, Wavelength 625 nm and RF Characteristics. Supporting Bluetooth Module Bluetooth Specification Version 2.0 Class 3, the Scanner offers Coverage (line-of-sight) Up to 3 meters. Besides this it supports Serial Port Profile (SPP) and, Human Interface Device Profile (HID). Deriving the charge from 2 AAA Alkaline Batteries, this dark grey colored scanner can connect 1 device for Bluetooth HID and up to 7 scanners for Bluetooth SPP.
