20 Megapixel Storage for 3G Camera Phones
Storage seems to be the problem for most camera phones these days. This is due to the fact that most mobile phones are becoming alternatives for taking a wide number of photos and videos. And thanks to Texas Instruments, new 20 megapixel storage coprocessors are going to change all that as they are set to add the OMAP-DM515 and OMAP-DM525 coprocessors to their OMAP-DM5x line.
With these new coprocessors, 3G capable camera phones can now store up to 20 megapixel still images and 720p HD video recordings. The OMAP-DM515 coprocessor is now available for purchase while the DM525 is undergoing sampling and will be officially released in 2010.
