3D Holographic Floating Head
It seems that 3D imaging will advance further and will make people gasp in astonishment. Earlier this month, we had posted about holograms and now it seems that ICT Graphics Lab is going to take holographic images to a whole new level.
This was actually the case when they revealed a 3D holographic floating head. The hologram was made possible through the use of special cameras which were able to capture the subject’s head and then projected it into a spinning mirror.
The projector will require a grid pattern to map out the subject’s face and show a 3D version for viewers on the other end to see. This certainly brings you to the movies such as Star Wars where you see holograms being projected by R2D2 which was used as a means for sending images. Could we see this as a reality soon?
