4DDynamics, the known manufacturer of 3D scanner, recently unveiled its latest 3D gadget, the PicoScan. It is a compact, practical and easy-to-use scanner. Based on the highly flexible and intuitive professional Mephisto 3D scan engine, the PicoScan produces quality 3D data.

With a Pico projector on top of a standard Canon DSLR camera, controlled by the scan engine and hooked up to a laptop, it creates 3D data. To develop this high-end 3D scanner, 3DDynamics, the mother-company of 4DDynamics took 7 years. At present it is devoted to introduce 3D scanning to a larger audience.
