648-megapixel Picture of the Milky Way

When’s the last time you looked at the stars? Have you seen anything worth mentioning? We have a very cool photo to show you today. The Milky Way in the picture here has been pieced together by Azel Mellinger, a physicist from Central Michigan University. He used 3,000 pictures which he took from all over the world. He traveled 26,000 miles for over 22 months to take them and then he reconstructed the impressive 648-megapixel image. So what do you say? Are you more interested in stars already?
