A Preschooler’s Digital Camera

Kids deserve a share of the action as far as digital cameras are concerned. Normally, adults would not leave their cameras to the hands of their little tykes for fear of damages. Hence, one great solution is to actually hand them a camera of their own. And we are not talking of a toy camera here!

The Preschooler digital camera housed in a thick plastic case and features a 0.3 MP image sensor to take 640×480 resolution images and 320×240 videos. It has a fixed focus lens and a 1” color display to aid kids prior to taking their shots. The camera can store up to 150 JPEG pictures and 3 ½ minutes of AVI video. It comes with a 16MB memory which can later on be downloaded to any PC through USB interface.

The camera retails for $59.95 which includes software for image editing. It makes use of 4 AA batteries.
