Pentax has announced a whole plethora of accessories which will complement its new Pentax 645 Medium Format Camera and other products. Details will emerge in the coming days and expect the company to announce more products during the PMA.

Some of the products announced by Pentax include; smc Pentax-DA 35mm f/2.8 Macro Limited which is a DSLR Macro Lens equivalent to 53.4 mm in traditional 35mm film format.

I am also looking forward to the latest addition to the Pentax Star-series telephoto lenses. The newbies include; Pentax-DA* 200mm f/2.8 ED [IF] SDM that has an equivalent 306mm focal length in 35mm format, smc Pentax-DA* 300mm f/4 ED [IF] SDM that has an equivalent 460mm focal length and the smc Pentax-DA* 60-250mm f/4 ED[IF] SDM that has a focal length equivalent to 92-383mm zoom in 35mm. The first two will see a September release where as the later a December release.

Another accessory to which will be showcased at the PMA is the Pentax AF200FG dedicated auto flash that has a guide number of 20 and will launch at a later date.
