Vitec Group’s Sachtler segment displayed its first LED on-camera light, the Reporter 8LED. Generating light up to 250 lumens, the device requires only 8 watts of power. Due to its low heat production, professionals can place the fixture near subjects for superior high-quality shots. The durable device features rigid and waterproof aluminum housing for extreme shooting environments.

The Sachtler Reporter 8LED supports compact 7.2 volt HDV camcorders to popular broadcast cameras. The accessory is available in a standard daylight version which can be converted to tungsten light through the exchangeable LED module. Through ¼” screws the luminaire can be easily mounted on or off the camera.
