SanDisk 8GB Ultra II SDHC Bundle with MicroMate SDHC/SD
SanDisk Corporation unveiled their new 8-gigabyte (GB)1 SanDisk Ultra® II SD High Capacity (SDHC™) card which is able to store over 4,000 high-resolution pictures or up to 15 hours of MPEG 4 video. The new card has write speeds of 9 megabytes (MB) per second and read speeds of 10MB/sec and hence carries a Class 44 speed rating.
Users will be happy to know that now the SanDisk MicroMate™ USB 2.0 reader, worth around 20 bucks will come bundled with the 8GB SanDisk Ultra II SDHC card at no extra charge. The 8GB card will be available from June 2007 and would retail for $239.
