SanDisk recently announced its latest 8-Gigabyte Extreme III SDHC Card for cameras. The company exhibited this latest product at the PhotoPlus 2007 International Conference & Expo. The card comes bundled with a SanDisk MicroMate™ USB 2.0 Reader priced $20. Shortly this complete bundle will ship within US at a price of $179.99.

8GB capacity means users can store more than 4,000 high-resolution pictures or up to 16 hours of MPEG 4 video2. For quick downloads the card supports read/write speed of 20 megabytes per second. The latest SanDisk Extreme III cards offer ESP Technology for efficient data transfer and RescuePRO® software to recover accidentally deleted files and images.
