SEA&SEA displayed their new underwater housing for the Canon EOS 40D Digital Camera, the MDX-40D. The rugged housing has been crafted out of solid block aluminum for perfection. Its attractive black body underwent numerous ergonomic processes to protect the housing from corrosion and abrasions. Most parts of the camera can be easily operated underwater to capture unbelievable shots. It includes a 0.66x pick-up standard viewfinder, Dual locking latches to avoid accidental loss and a Built-in Leak sensor alerts at water-intrusion detection. The SEA&SEA Port lock system keeps an eye on the attached port while it's in use to prevent its unfastening. The MDX-40D shows compatibility with Product 46060, Shutter-activated focus light and also accompanies the camera quick shoe to simplify the installation process.
