AgfaPhoto unveiled its newest High Definition Video Camera, DV-5000Z at the Photoforum Moskva festival. The compact camera is just twelve by seven centimeters (4.7″ x 2.75″) in size and weighs under 200g. It captures high-def 1,280 x 720 pixel videos in 16:9 wide screen format. Equipped with a 3x optical zoom lens and 2.5” rotating and pivoting LCD display, it delivers superior 8 mega-pixel images. It also includes a video lamp with a half-meter (20″) range which functions as a flash.
AgfaPhoto DV-5000Z shoots videos with ctystal clear 16-bit audio channel and also supports external microphone. Other features include direct HDTV playback, MPEG-4 format and H.264 compression, 5-Mp Micron CMOS sensor and an 8GB SDHC memory card.
AgfaPhoto extends its range to cover the digital video product sector. The camera is expected to be available in Russia by the end of April for 249 Euros (including 18% VAT).
