Aiptek A-HD+ Camcorder Review–Simple Basic Model

Sometimes, good enough is good enough.

By that I mean that a model with a lot of bells and whistles often proves to be an unnecessary set of headaches for the user, and sometimes, all you need to do the job at hand is something simple and basic.  And the Aiptek A-HD+ camcorder definitely seems to fit that mold.

The Aiptek A-HD+ camcorder captures video at 1080p, can record from your TV, DVD or VCR, plus it also accepts thirty two gig SDHC memory cards.  It comes with a one year warrant and a 2.4 inch LCD screen that has a maximum swivel radius of two hundred seventy degrees, giving it a lot of useful positions.  It has a hundred and twenty eight megs of onboard memory to keep your videos safe.

It’s a fair enough camcorder, even if its zoom distance is pretty short.  The controls are fairly easy to work and the image is also fairly clear.  “Fair” is an excellent word to describe the Aiptek A-HD+, as it’s not particularly good nor is it particularly bad.  It simply IS.

You likely wouldn’t regret buying this, especially at the hundred and ten bucks you’ll pay for it, but nor will you be able to do all manner of impressive things with it, either.
