AirFrame can stream media from one iDevice to another
Just when I finished covering an App known as MyStream for iOS that allows the user to stream music and audiobooks from one iDevice to the next, in comes AirFrame which does streaming of photos and videos between iDevices.
It essentially uses AirPlay to do this. AirPlay allows a user to stream content from the iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch to the HDTV via Apple TV. Lately, AirPlay has been getting a lot of airplay (for lack of a better word) since the announcement of iOS 4.3 at the iPad 2 announcement.
AirFrame is designed for streaming from iTunes, or other AirPlay enabled applications such as YouTube or AirVideo. In case you are wondering, it does not support music streaming, nor protected video content. By the way, all iOS devices that are “AirFraming” (also for lack of a better word) must be part of the same WiFi network.
If you want AirFrame, feel free to get it at the iTunes store for about $1.99.
