Another PENTAX digicam – E80

On top of the P80 that was presented today, PENTAX has also displayed the new E8 that works with two AA-size batteries – not very common in recent digicams, but still a good feature. Technically speaking, the E80 has a 10-megapixel CCD and a normal LCD screen that measures 2.7-inches and delivers 230,000 pixels.

In the zoom department, the PENTAX E80 makes use of a 3x wide angle optical zoom lens and as most of the cameras released in nowadays, it can detect faces and smiles. The video content is recorded at 15 frames per second at 720p. The latest PENTAX digital camera costs approximately $130 and will become available in September.
