Apple iLife 09 Up For Release

For the people who are familiar with iPhoto, iLife is another software that is bound to catch your fancy. Initially unveiled at the Macworld, this new software features improvements to programs such as iPhoto, which acts as a photo library, iMovie, a program for editing and sharing home movies, and GarageBand music-composition software.
One of the most impressive new features is the face-recognition software built in to iPhoto 09 that identifies the people in pictures and allows users to ‘tag’ those images with a person’s name, making it easy to search for multiple pictures showing the same person.
Mobile phones and digital cameras with built-in geo-tagging capabilities will help to make this process automatic, although users with older cameras can drop their own pins onto the map to show were pictures were take
