Let’s face it, a good portion of photography enthusiasts are favorable to Apple’s OS X as opposed to Microsoft Windows.

Well, to those folk, this recent announcement might get them a little excited. Apple has recently announced an update for their againg Mac Pro line.

What’s included in the update? Well, they will use the brand new Intel Nehalem Xeon processors which means p to 2x increase in performance over the previous generation.

Starting at a modest $2,499 the new Apple Mac Pro is a serious peice of hardware for any aspiring photographer.
