Books are being transformed into the digital content style and soon, we may see them being browsed and read easier once this new brainchild from AU Optronics comes out. Apparently the company is now busy producing the ePaper Panels, the size of most legal papers in the market today.

At the moment, there are 6×9 panels in the market. The new ePaper Panels will be the next product line to be unveiled, a technology that all started from the Amazon Kindle DX that created the whole large-scale e-paper devices.

Shipments of e-labels – smaller-scale e-paper used to display dynamically changing price and transit labels used in retail and other segments – have already begin, using AUO’s fourth-gen production facilities.
