Augmented Reality Cosmetic Mirror

It looks like augmented reality has invaded the world of cosmetics. One thing about women is that they wouldn’t know if a particular brand of makeup would suit them and all they have to bank on is the word of the sales lady. But not anymore!
Shiseido has launched the augmented reality cosmetic mirror, a new technology that scans a woman’s face and then virtually tries on various types of cosmetics such as lipstick or eye shadows to see if they would really look good with them. This interactive terminal was spotted over at the Takashimaya department store in Shinjuku which may yet change the age of modern beautification.
