Awesome Video of the Orionid Meteor Shower
Okay, if you’re anything like me you love a good meteor shower. It’s an incredible sight as giant rocks fall through the atmosphere and burn up on contact. And last night, there was a really great one called the Orionid Meteor Shower that was visible throughout much of the planet, assuming you didn’t have any unpleasant weather like I did last night. Now, before the advent of the Internet, and YouTube, basically, I’d have to live with the shame and disappointment for another year until I could see it again, and hopefully, that night wouldn’t be so cloudy or rainy or what have you.
But thanks to the internet, I can get video footage of the Orionid Meteor Shower whenever I please.
That footage can be found directly below, so thanks to an enterprising soul with a camcorder who was willing to go outside and take some video so that I wouldn’t have to bitterly curse the weather.
