“Basic Underwater Photography” by author Paul J. Mila, discusses a unique, non-technical photographic approach for divers who choose to enjoy their dives and taking photos without constantly adjusting camera settings such as shutter speeds and f-stops. Instead, Mila emphasizes the importance of positioning and using the correct accessories, such as a wide-angle lens and/or external flash, for particular shots.

The book is designed for new underwater photographers as well as for seasoned divers who are disappointed when their photos of beautiful barracudas appear small and unimpressive, colorful corals look drab and featureless, and their fish photos are of blurry tails.
