BenQ E720 Digital Camera
If you thought only Sony and Kodak have the market share on sleek looking cameras, think again! The new BenQ E720 will surely make heads turn with its stylish brushed aluminum body. The E720 manages to achieve a highly understated yet chic look, which is further enhanced by an anti-oxidized, moisture resistant aluminum surface.
However its not always about the looks and this holds true especially in the photography world. Only time will tell how this little trooper will perform and till then lets just run over its features and specs.
The BenQ E720 features a 7 megepixel CCD image sensor and is equipped with a smc Pentax lens. The digicam sports a 2.5 inch LTPS display and a lens, which is capable of 3x optical zoom. The digicam claims to be an amalgamation of design and functionality and the camera supports high light sensitivity of up to ISO 1200.
Like the current crop of cameras, the BenQ E720 includes a whole bunch of features like a shake-free mode, 13-scene modes for quick setting adjustments, and continuous movie recording with optical zoom. The digicam also supports 3:2, 16:9 and 4:3 aspect ratio output size and is PictBridge compliant. No word on pricing or availability.
"Sometimes design inspiration comes from items we love to look at and touch; for many, this means luxury products such as handbags and fragrances. When I look at the E720, I think of something luxurious." said Manfred Wang, Director of BenQ Lifestyle Design Center. "If you place the E720 vertically, you'll see its resemblance to a fragrance bottle, complete with a luxurious stopper on top."
