BigShot DIY Digital Camera Kit
The best way to appreciate cameras is to know how they are made. This of course doesn’t mean you need a crash course in engineering their framework. You can start from the basic. Fortunately the Computer Vision Lab has come up with a BigShot DIY digital camera kit which can be assembled by kids themselves while learning as well.
The camera can be powered by standard batteries or through crank power (6 cranks equals 1 picture) and even has lenses which rotate. It includes wide angle lens and a prism for taking shots. Pretty neat to get the little ones adept with photography and technology.
