We have another contest for passionate photographers. The British Wildlife Photography Awards will get you a first price of £5,000 if you win it.

The competition starts on April 2, 2009 and it will have seven main categories and two special awards for young photographers. Following the closing date, which is July 31, 2009, a nationwide exhibition will be launched at Hoopers Gallery, Clerkenwell from September 16, 2009 and then a tour of the country will be arranged

Here are the Awards and Prizes to be won:

• British Wildlife Photographer – £5,000
• Young British Wildlife Photographer (under 17) – £, 500
• School and Youth Group, British Wildlife Photography Award (under 17) – £1,000
