Brother has added two new printers to their green catalog, they are codenamed HL-4040CDN and MFC-9450CDN. What makes the printers being eco-friendly is the ability to save energy and resources. For example, by using a “duplex printing feature” it will save a few trees (and your money) because it prints on both sides of a paper.

HL-4040CDN - Available this month for $400. It boasts a maximum printing quality of 2400×600 dpi, and the print speed is set at 21 pages per minute.

MFC-9450CDN - Same resolution but different printing speeds when making a copy, 17ppp. A bit more expensive with a price tag of $650.

Both models come with a USB2.0 interface, and an Ethernet port.
