If you’re making a list of Christmas gifts and want to offer to someone a simple video camera, check out the Busbi which is available at Firebox for only £35, close to $55. It is so simple yet so good, that is currently out of stock, but you can still make a pre-order.

Inside the Busbi package you’ll find a 1GB SD memory card, 2AA batteries, a ouput cable for the TV, and a CD with editing software. As for the camera itself, it is lightweight at 72 grams and has a small 2.0-inch TFT screen. The videos are recorded in a AVI format at 320×240 pixels, with the usual 30 frames per second.
