DXG USA recently launched the DXG 506V 5 Megapixel combo digital camcorder which also boasts of a number of multimedia features including;MP3 player, voice recorder, webcam etc.

The DXG 506V digital camcorder is available in colors like;Deep-Sea Blue, Metallic Pink, Midnight Black, and Classic Silver and is targeted at the casual and young user. It can capture MPEG-4 video (up to 640x480 at 30 frames per second), and take digital photos of up to 12 Megapixels. Users can also use it as a webcam by hooking it up to the PC via the USB cable and also transfer their music and video files to the camcorder.

The DXG 506V also moonlights as a portable storage device and has 32MB of internal memory and SD Card slot. One can also print up to 8 ½” x 11” photos, either directly from the camcorder without a computer (with the included PictBridgeTM technology) or with a computer. The camcorder comes bundled with a camera case, wrist strap, earphones, editing software, USB and AV cables, manual, and AAA batteries. The DXG 506V has a suggested retail price of $149 and is now available.
