Lancerlink has unveiled its latest DDV-1080HD HD camcorder with the capacity of recording at 1,440 x 1,080 (30fps) or 1,280 x 720 (60fps) in H.264 format. This Camcorder is expected to give tough competition to the DXG models. Priced at ¥49,800 ($474), the DDV-1080HD features 5-megapixel sensor, 3-inch LCD monitor, HDTV (component) output and USB connectivity. It offers 90 MB free memory and supports an extendable memory. It therefore accepts SD / MMC / SDHC card. What about the battery life? Well! There is a rechargeable battery within this camcorder that lets you use it for four hours.
