Sony at the NAB unveiled new technologies including the Sony PDW-F355 camcorder which is the latest addition to Sony's XDCAM line of products. The Sony PDW-F355 will be able to support Sony's new SxS, a 16GB card but for now is only Professional Disc only (Sony's proprietary optical disc). The camera will feature two card slots, and users will be able to record approximately 120 minutes of content on two16 GB cards.

The camcorder would be based on MPEG-2 compression technology with three, ½-inch imagers. and the suer would be able to switch between 1080/60i and 720/60P and record in 1080/50i/30P/25P/24P and 720/50P.
