Camera Tossing Continues Unabated–New Pics Emerge
Back around June we first detailed the practice of camera tossing, in which a camera is set to take a picture on its self-timer and then thrown, spinning, up in the air. I personally hope whoever engages in camera tossing is either really well-off to replace broken cameras or is doing this in a heavily padded environment, because this strikes me as a REALLY dangerous pastime.
Anyway, Wired put out a call for folks willing to engage in camera tossing, and has a series of pictures over at its site. They were doing this specifically for the Christmas season–and of course, the other holidays in too–and got over two hundred responses.
If you want to see the stuff that didn’t make it onto Wired itself, go check out flickr and look for anything tagged “wiredcameratoss”.
Me, I’m not sure this is such a hot idea but even I have to admit the pics of all the swirling lights and everything are definitely worth a look. Check them out!
