DNET X2 is a smart mobile handset introduced recently in the market. This is a really special handset which facilitates the user to use two GSM SIM cards at once and thus you can have two different phone numbers. It comes in a unique design and has got some artistic image on the back of handset. It teams up with a 2.2” touch screen display and also features a media player. The handset supports microSD card slot, and has got 64-polyphonic ring tones. By looking at the handset we have also observed that it also equips a camera module but are not sure about its Mega pixels. There is not much information about the arrival of this handset in the market and but it is said that its price would reach somewhere around $7800.

Nokia is believed to launch its new range of camera mobile phones very soon. Although the news of this launch has been floating from quiet some time now but not much is known till now. It is being assumed that this model would feature a 2 mega pixel camera with flash, USB 2.0, Bluetooth 2.0, FM Radio, shining LED strip around the casing, but according to FCC a 3-band (GSM900/1800/1900) Nokia phone with GPRS, EGPRS, Bluetooth and 7500 model number has just received their approval. As for now Nokia has requested for the confidentiality from FCC for the pictures and users manual of Nokia 7500. But as this confidentiality period ends out by July 18th the users can surely expect an official announcement for this handset

The FCC approved the TOSHIBA RG4-E02 Pocket PC Phone, which bears a resemblance to the HTC TyTN. The phone supports Triband GSM (900,1800,1900) and 3G UMTS and will run on the Windows Mobile 6 Professional. One also comes across a 2 mega pixel camera and WiFi 802.11b/g. Other key features include; 3 ″ TFT LCD (480×800) 65k colors, Bluetooth, Speakerphone and a Mini-SD expansion slot.
Toshiba Japan introduced the Toshiba WX320T Phone recently and lets see whats it all about. The phone has been equipped with a 2.4 QVGA display and will be available on the Wilcome network.
The Toshiba WX320T includes a 1.3 Megapixel camera and the Internet browser “NetFront. It can also open up Word Excel PowerPoint PDF files making it a complete entertainment and business solution. Other features include a music player and support for microSD Card.

LG SV280 is now available in green instead of that white color with the orange trim. Banana phone has now acquired true banana color. It features same 1.3-megapixel camera, an MP3 player and 142MB of onboard memory. Its green color doesn’t appeal many. But green is symbolic of prosperity and, freshness. Let us see how many people get attracted to it. They say green hue lets one attain psychological sense of stability thereby reducing stress helping in concentration power reinforcement.

LG continues its love affair with chic phones and sophisticated names. Check out the new LG Wine or SV300 phone, which will appeal to the fairer sex with its slim ergonomics. The phone has been equipped with a 13. Megapixel camera and also includes; a dedicated MP3 player and a 2.2 inch LCD display. Its now available for 300,000 KRW ($ 322) in Korea
Another new Casio Phone on the horizon is the Casio Exilim W52CA, which includes a 2.7 mega pixel camera. The handset has a F2.8 lens with focal length 28mm (35mm format conversion) in addition to a 2.6-inch QVGA 260k color LCD display. Other features include; 10x digital zoom, InfraRed,100MB internal memory, and microSD card slot. The phone also supports EZ-Television with the 1Seg technology.
Casio recently announced EXILIM W53CA Camera Phone, which has a whopping 5-megapixel camera to its credit. The handset comes in three colors and has been equipped with a F2.8 lens with focal length 28mm (35mm format conversion). The W53CA Camera Phone sports a funky clamshell design and also records video at QVGA resolution. Other features include; music player,Buetooth and a 2.8-inch wide VGA screen.
Motorola had recently announced the Motorola RAZR 2, which means you, can bid adieu to the original RAZR soon. The Motorola RAZR 2 compromises of the Motorola V9 (3G HSDPA), Motorola V9m (EVDO CDMA) and Motorola V8 (GSM).
All handsets in the RAZR 2 Series will feature the CrystalTalk technology, new intuitive user interface and loads of multimedia features. One will also comes across h dual displays, a large 2" external screen with picture caller ID support and sleeker ergonomics. The 3 handsets will also feature a 2MP Camera.
Motorola, Inc announced the MOTO Q 8 recently, which is actually a GSM version of the original CDMA-based MOTO Q. The phone remains pretty much the same when compared to its counterpart.
The MOTO Q 8 is a smart phone, which has a full QWERTY keyboard and hosts of multimedia features to its credit. One comes across features like; stereo Bluetooth® wireless technology, a 1.3 megapixel camera,Wi-Fi support and optional miniSDIO card connectivity.
The MOTO Q 8 supports GPRS and EDGE and comes equipped with a 2.4", 64K TFT display. It is also capable of video capture and playback with sound using Windows Media Player supporting MPEG4, H.263, WMV formats and uses Windows Mobile 6.0 Standard Edition as its OS. The MOTO Q 8 is expected to be available in Q2 of 2007.
Another phone in the new updated Razr line up is the RAZR2 V8 which promises a "richer multimedia experience". The phone has a dedicated music player and has touch-sensitive music controls, located on the large color external display. One can also play songs purchased from any Windows-based music store.
The RAZR2 V8 has also been outfitted with a 2.0 megapixel camera with 8x zoom and one can also capture videos and play them back on the phone. The Motorola RAZR2 V9m is the new avatar of Razr and might I add, absolutely stunning! Using 3G CDMA technology, the handset promises to have the right blend of functionality and style. Users will come across an integrated integrated digital music player which plays almost all the music formats and via the microSD card slot you can store up to 2GB of data!

If your love for Nokia Phones is equal to your love of the cult classic The Godfather, boy are you in for a treat! Nokia has released a special Nokia N73 Godfather edition which comes pre-loaded with the whole movie! Apart from the Godfather goodies, the phone also included a 3.2 MP camera ! Check out this oddly shaped mobile phone by LG. The LG -SV280 Mobile Phone seeks it inspiration from a banana when it comes to form factor! I don’t know why LG thought it was a good idea! Apart from its design, other features, which stand out, are; a 1.3 MP Camera, music player and QVGA screen resolution. No word on pricing or availability.

The Kyocera E1000 incorporates an intuitive new user interface with improved menus and sports a very cool design. The handset includes features like; 1.3 megapixel camera, a large QCIF+ TFT display and Bluetooth wireless connectivity. Kyocera Wireless Corp unveiled new handsets and we shall cover them individually! First in line is the Kyocera E2000 which promises both style and functionality. The handset stands out with its sexy high-gloss black exterior and cool clamshell design.
The Kyocera E2000 supports high-speed 1xEV-DO which makes it possible for users to enjoy over-the-air downloads of music and video-on-demand (a) (MOD/VOD). This one has a fully featured music player and the handset supports stereo Bluetooth (A2DP), external music controls and a microSD memory expansion slot. One also comes across features like; 1.3 megapixel camera with external controls and a 2 inch QCIF+ TFT internal display. The dual-band digital phone is slated for release with global CDMA carriers in Fall 2007.
Of all the Pantech phones we covered today, the Pantech C710 remains my favorite. The handset is pretty sleek and the clamshell design is a winner. However this one is not just a pretty package as it also supports 3G and includes a 1.3 MP camera. Other features found on the phone include; a large display screen, PTT (Push-to-Talk), Bluetooth stereo, video sharing client, Flash UI, and multimedia capabilities.
The phones do not stop today! If you are a sucker for smart clamshell phones than you will surly dig the Pantech C600 phone. The handset supports both quad-band GSM/EDGE and dual band WCDMA. This one also includes a VGA camera which actually in the pixels crazy world is quite a let down. Other feature include; Bluetooth 1.2 and MicroSD slot. No word on pricing or availability.
The Pantech C150 may not exactly set the bar afire with its features but this candy-bar handset is perfect for those who are on a budget but still want a multimedia handset.
The Pantech C150 is a tri-band GSM mobile phone with support for the 850 and 1900 Mhz bands. it is available in colors like white and black and will be available in the US soon. Some features include; Bluetooth stereo, MP3 downloading and a VGA camera.
Another flip phone to be unveiled at the CTIA by Pantech is the Pantech C510 which in the States will be available under the AT&T branding. The handset has been approved by the FCC in the US so expect it to debut anytime soon.
The Pantech C510 includes a 1.3 camera with video recording capabilities. the handset also includes the usual multimedia features like; dedicated music controls on the outer casing, EDGE, Bluetooth, camera, multimedia player etc.
With the CTIA in full swing, one saw Pantech unveiling 5 new handsets! First in line is the tiny tiny Pantech C3b. The flip phone is a little too small for my comfort and includes a camera and some multimedia features like; Bluetooth, MMS: changeable color face plates and mobile email. No further info is available as of now but this one also has the distinction of being the world's smallest camera flip phone.
Sony Ericsson at the CTIA announced its new W580 WALKMAN® phone. The handset measures just 14mm thin and is available in colors like Style White or Urban Grey. This one is not just a music phone as is offers a complete multimedia feature set.
The W580 WALKMAN includes a 2.0 megapixel camera and functions as a portable photo album and pocket gaming device. The new handset is a Quad Band EDGE device (850/900/1800/1900) and has been equipped with a large 2 inch color screen. The W580 is a full on music phone and hence lets one create playlists and also includes a RDS-FM radio. Then there are features like TrackID for identifying songs and Disc2Phone software for transferring music on to your handset.
The W580 WALKMAN also includes sports & fitness applications which can keep track of steps, running speed, time, and distance. the handset sports a cool sliding design and comes with a 512 MB Memory Stick Micro. No word on pricing or availability.
The Nokia N95 is an all-in-one multimedia computer with a 5 megapixel camera and integrated GPS functionality is now shipping in key European, Asian and Middle Eastern markets. guess as usual our US friends have to wait a little longer!

The Nokia Maps application includes maps for more than 150 countries and some other features include; built-in stereo speakers, a standard 3.5 mm audio connector and support for compatible microSD memory card,support for WLAN, EDGE and WCDMA.
