Another phone in the new updated Razr line up is the RAZR2 V8 which promises a "richer multimedia experience". The phone has a dedicated music player and has touch-sensitive music controls, located on the large color external display. One can also play songs purchased from any Windows-based music store.

The RAZR2 V8 has also been outfitted with a 2.0 megapixel camera with 8x zoom and one can also capture videos and play them back on the phone.
