We talked about the Canon 1D Mark IV here not so long ago, but when I found some night vision video from Gizmodo exhibiting the 1D Mark IV’s night vision capabilities, I was frankly amazed.

Okay, first, the fact that a camera can shoot in 1080p to begin with is nothing short of awesome, but considering that it can also tackle thirty frames per second video at that rate and tackle twice that at 720p?  Now that’s just plain old amazing.  And when you compound that amazing by checking out the video I found over here, the whole thing takes on a level of awesome so high as to suggest sheer insanity.

You know a camera like this is going to cost massive amounts of cash (try five THOUSAND dollars per!), if for no other reason than it can do so many things that it verges on the magical. Still though, for anyone with that kind of money and that kind of need for incredible capability in a camera, this has to be the one for you.
