Canon 5D Mark II Has Black Spot Artifacts

Canon’s 5D Mark II new DSLR has been reported to malfunction. It seems that the Auto-Focus, white balance and high ISO sensitivity are performing well despite the increased sensor but there are bugs which Canon will have to correct.
It has been reported that some pictures are showing black dots or edges on the right side of blown highlight areas. The errors appeared on raw pictures in both high and low ISO shots. Canon says the negative effects are caused by long exposures with high ISO images but the debates is still going on on some forums.
If you happen to own a new Canon 5D Mark II then go ahead and see what other are saying about the whole problem on various forums:Photo.net, dpreview, photography-on-the.net, fredminranda. Canon will certainly roll out a firmware to fix all those appearing black dots.
