Canon CanoScan LiDE 100 Scanner
The CanoScan LiDE 100 scanner from Canon was recently reviewed at PCMag, and received a good rating of 4 out of 5 stars, making it a “Very Good” product.
The budget-model scanner LiDE 100 is very cheap with a price tag of $60, but is still able to deliver a good quality when scanning photos. The maximum optical resolution is set to 2400 pixels, while the mechanical resolution is 4800 pixels.
Other features include a USB interface, a reflective setting as scanning option, and being compatible with Windows Vista/XP, and Mac OS from 10.3.9 to 10.5.x.
Prescans took about 19 seconds, and scanning 4-by-6s at 300 ppi took about 33 seconds. Scanning the same images at 400 ppi took about 53 seconds.
