Canon Digital Rebel Camera Review–Big! Great! Pricey!
Everything about the Canon Digital Rebel is BIG.
The Canon Digital Rebel is a twelve megapixel digital SLR camera with a three inch LCD display, DIGIC III image processor, an integrated cleaning system and a dust detection / deletion system, and compatibility with SD and SDHD memory cards.
And like I said, this is a BIG camera. Make no mistake about it. Its LCD screen is unusually large, its size makes me wonder if ti could be used to bludgeon intruders, and it takes incredible pictures. The quality is unusually high, even for a twelve megapixel camera–it almost SEEMS better, even when stacked against others of similar quality. I don’t know what it is but they just look better.
The price tag is also pretty massive–at retail, depending on where you shop, you’ll shell out an impressive five hundred dollars plus for this camera. Now, the question of the day is, do you NEED this much camera? If you do, then the Canon Digital Rebel will bring all the value you could ever want. If not, then you’ll be vastly overpaying for top of the line that you don’t need.
