The Canon EOS-1D Mark IV Digital SLR Camera was officially introduced in the market today, the latest camera offering from Canon USA boasting of a high-speed performance with a 16 megapixel Canon CMOS Sensor. The Canon EOS-1D Mark IV also features a 1080p full HD video capture at desired frame rates encased in one of the most rugged professional camera bodies available in the market today.

Other highlights include a 45-point autofocus system, a large 3” Clear View II LCD Screen, a wide 160 degree viewing angle for enhanced clarity and a new WFT-E2 II A wireless file transmitter for various connectivity options. The Canon EOS-1D Mark IV Digital SLR Camera is slated to be available at local US stores by December. A body-only configuration will be offered at a retail price of $4,999.00. The Canon WFT-E2 II A wireless file transmitter will also be available later in the year.
