Canon EOS 5D Mark II Remembers Your Batteries

The Canon EOS 5D Mark II is quite an exquisite camera and that’s not a secret to anyone. Some people say it’s overpriced at $2,699 but that might not just be the case here. Besides the feature you would expect from this EOS camera, Canon has inserted some cool tricks too.
One of them is the fact that the camera can track up to six batteries in its internal database. The camera will tell you which battery has more power so you can make the appropriate choice for your next shots. How does this work you ask? Quite simple actually! Eac LP-E6 battery pack contains a microchip with an 8-character serial number. The number can be used to register the battery in the camera menu and therefore it can be easily tracked!
In case you have just one battery to play with that means this cool trick won’t help you out. But if you are a pro, then I am sure this will be just the cool feature you were looking for.
