Canon EOS Rebel T2I DSLR Camera Review–A Fistful of Options
There’s no two ways about it, folks–Canon knows their cameras. They have to; after all, they’ve been at it for a lot of years. And the Canon EOS Rebel T2I is going to be proof positive of that.
We first talked about this one way back in March, and the Canon EOS Rebel T2I is going to offer an incredible array of features. It’s an eighteen megapixel DSLR camera with a three inch Clear View TFT-LCD monitor that’s actually water-repellant and smudge-resistant with multiple levels of brightness. It also offers an eye-level pentamirror viewfinder, a DIGIC 4 image processor, face detection technology, an array of flash modes and white balance options, nine point autofocus, burst shooting mode, a retractable, auto pop-up flash, HD movie mode, support for Secure Digital memory cards, direct printing and editing software.
I don’t know what, exactly, the zoom is on this thing, but it seems pretty long. I got what I guess (by pacing) is about a hundred feet. And there are so many features on this thing that it’s downright unsettling. This, of course, puts some strain on the controls and the ease of use concept, but still. If you can handle an advanced camera, then this thing will absolutely blow your mind open.
Naturally, it’s not recommended for beginners, and with a price tag better suited to a television than a camera (a whopping nine hundred bucks at Best Buy), it’s clear why. But still, for those who can handle all of it, the Canon EOS Rebel T2I is a patently unbelievable piece of hardware.
