Canon EOS Rebel XS DSLR Camera Review–Huge And Expensive

I’m always tempted to, whenever I start talking about a DSLR camera, start in about how this is so much more camera than the average person will ever need.  And in general, yes, it is a whole lot more camera than most people will ever need or even use.  But after hearing about the DSLR–specifically, the Canon Rebel XT–that survived the three thousand foot drop, I tend to choke on those words.

The Canon EOS Rebel XS is a ten megapixel DSLR camera with 2.5 inch LCD display, a DIGIC III image processor, the EOS Integrated Cleaning system, the Canon-designed Self Cleaning Sensor Unit, the Dust Delete Data Detection software, and compatibility with SD and SDHC memory cards.

See. there’s definitely plenty to like about this, and considering it’s the camera so durable that it (or one like it, anyway!) survived a three thousand foot drop still in operational condition, there’s DEFINITELY a lot to like.  But of course for something like this you get what you pay for, and you’ll pay, all right–a whopping four hundred and fifty bucks.

The Canon EOS Rebel XS is a great camera, if you want a camera that can do just about anything and are willing to shell out a monstrous amount of cash for it.
