Recently, Canon U.S.A., Inc., world’s leading provider of digital imaging technology, announced the release of Technesis iBridge for Canon imagePROGRAF Printer software. This new module will import job logs from a Canon imagePROGRAF large format printer into the Technesis Print Control System for reporting, pricing, job tracking and accounting.

“Tracking and capturing print costs is a growing need from our customers,” said Jim Rosetta, vice president and general manager, Imaging Systems Group, Canon U.S.A. “The combination of the iBridge software and the award-winning imagePROGRAF line of printers will help users to significantly enhance their organization’s ability to track and report on their large format print projects. ”

Technesis software enables importing job data like media, length, width, area and ink consumption levels from the Canon imagePROGRAF controller. Not only this, it also automatically delivers all this to the Technesis database, making almost every job sent to the Canon imagePROGRAF printer readily available for costing and reporting.
