Canon Powershot E1

The first camera in Canon’s new ‘E’ series, the Canon Powershot E1 is targeted towards teens and young adults who want stylish colors and a fun user interface combined with the extra features that all Canon users have come to expect. The E1 features 17 different shooting modes including a movie mode for taking short videos, a much sought-after feature for teens who love to post their work on public domain sites like YouTube, hoping for that magic viral moment. The chip responsible for the superior performance of what would otherwise be an entry level camera is the Digic III imaging processor.

The Digic III enables the E1 to have faster start up, faster autofocus and quicker shutter response times than comparable cameras in its class and price range.
