Canon, one of the global leaders in digital imaging, has unveiled its new Powershot SD1200 ISDigital Camera. Designed to give you exuberant color and advanced features, this new camera has all that is required to make a photography session interesting worthwhile.

Canon’s Powershot SD1200 IS Digital Camera incorporates a 10.0 mega pixel sensor. It comes fitted with a 3x optical zoom and a large 2.5-inch PureColor LCD II with wide viewing angle. It features DIGIC 4 Image Processor and Face Detection Technology for tracking moving subjects.

Its Smart AUTO automatically selects the matching settings for the camera from the 18 predefined shooting situations. This new digital camera is expected to be available in March 2009 at an estimated price of $299.99. There is not one but six appealing colors available for Canon Powershot SD1200 IS Digital Camera, including, pink, orange, blue, green, dark gray and light gray.
