Canon Powershot SD780IS Camera Review–Like A Coconut
What does that have to do with a camera, you wonder? Well, simple. Today’s camera, the Canon Powershot SD780 IS, is a lot like one. It generates a great product, IF you can get it to work for you.
The Canon Powershot SD780 IS is a twelve megapixel camera with a 3x optical zoom, 2.5 inch LCD screen, HD movie shooting capability with HDMI output, face detection and compatibility with SD, SDHC, MMC, MMC Plus, and HC MMC Plus memory cards.
And it’s a good camera, with a lot of high-tension features if you can just get the stupid thing to work. it’s got the TINIEST buttons I’ve seen on a camera lately, and frankly, I had a hard time even getting the thing to take basic pictures. When you consider that this retails for three hundred fifty bucks, well, that makes the picture even less palatable. This Canon is probably not the camera for beginners, but advanced users may find themselves enamored with this one.
