The Canon PowerShot SD970 IS Digital ELPH Camera is one of the best cameras to arrive from Canon this Spring. It will feature a 12.1 megapixels sensor, a 5x optical zoom lens with Optical Image Stabilization and a 3-inch PureColor LCD II screen. The camera will record 720p HD videos and has a built-in HDMI connector to let you view photos and videos straight on your HDTV. The SD970 IS will improve your photo skills with features like Smart AUTO, Blink Detection Technology, Active Display,
Zoom Blur and Creative Light Effect.

The camera will be probably available at the PMA and it will hit stores in mid-April for $379.99.
