Canon presents IXY 30s digital camera



Canon has announced a new digital camera codenamed IXY 30s that will first become available in Japan, on May 27, for approximately $430.

The Canon IXY 30s comes with a 10-megapixel sensor, F2 Canon lwns that have an optical zoom of 3.8x, and an ISO sensitivity of 125~3200. The camera can record videos in a resolution of 1,280×720 pixels at 30 frames per second, in MOV format. Other features include being lightweight at 175 grams, small-dimensions at 100 × 23.6 × 54.1mm, and support for SDXC/SDHC/SD memory cards.
