Canon SD 1200 Camera Review–Another Choice Model

Canon gives me very little reason to complain about its hardware.  Oh, sure, every so often I’ll have a reason to kvetch about some fault or flaw–that happens.  Very seldom will I find a poor value.  And today’s model of choice, the Canon SD 1200, is certainly not a poor value.

The Canon SD 1200 is a ten megapixel camera with 3x optical zoom; a 2.5 inch LCD screen, DIGIC 4 Image Processor with evolved face detection technology and face detection self-timer, Smart AUTO technology, and compatibility with SD, SDHC, MMC, MMC Plus, and HC MMC Plus memory cards.

There’s a lot to enjoy here. Lots of functions, great capability–surprisingly nice zoom for a small camera, too.  And the price will definitely hold your interest; it may retail for three hundred bucks, but you can buy it on Amazon, new, for a hundred and fifty.  For this kind of camera that’s an EXCELLENT price. So between this excellent functionality and a great price on the other, well, that’s a lot to like.
