Canon Strengthens its EF-S series of Lenses
Canon has come up with two versatile lenses that strengthen its EF-S series of lenses. Designed for everyday use, the EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS and the EF-S 15-85mm f/3.5-5.6 IS lenses are ideal for walk around photographers who wish to travel light.
The EF-S 15-85mm f/3.5-5.6 IS has been designed for EOS EF-S mount bodies. It offers close focusing distance of just 0.35m throughout the zoom range. Whereas, the EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 is a powerful all-in-one lens for EOS EF-S mount bodies and supports a 7.5x super zoom range. For impressive image quality, both the lenses feature a 4-stop Image Stabilizer.
Both the lenses feature Canon’s improved exterior lens design and a wide range of focal lengths. The EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 will be available from early October 2009 priced at £529.99 / €619.99 RRP inc. VAT, while the EF-S 15-85mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM will be available in mid October 2009 priced at £849.99 / €989.99 RRP inc. VAT.
